Joshua Alexander

Lecturer of Entrepreneurship

Prior to joining USC, Alexander was a financial derivatives prop trader and investment manager. While working in investments, Alexander co-founded a security company, Toopher, which was subsequently acquired by Salesforce. Alexander is currently a Director at Salesforce where he focuses on security product management and consults for Salesforce Ventures. Additionally, Alexander is on faculty with the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, where he teaches undergraduate financial risk management and graduate new venture finance. Alexander holds an MBA in finance and strategy with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, two undergraduate degrees with honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
