Tina Sharkey is a consumer brand builder, global operating executive, entrepreneur, and public and private board member. She has created and scaled global brands and businesses in digital media, consumer health, and CPG industries that have transformed the way we communicate, shop and share.
Sharkey currently serves on the national board of directors at the Public Broadcasting Network (PBS), Heyday; a platform pioneering a marketplace-native approach to eCommerce, and Havenly; the world's leading interior design platform. She currently serves on the Growth and Innovation board at GAP Inc., and as a strategic advisor to BFA Industries; the largest beauty community in the world, where she previously served on the Board. Sharkey also served on the Board of Directors of HomeAway, (NASDAQ: AWAY) through its sale to Expedia.
Recognized as one of the top 100 People Transforming Business by Business Insider, named by Fast Company as one of the Top Women in Technology, Sharkey is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute. She is also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Iovine and Young Academy at USC where teaches a course she created called The Community Playbook for Brands and Businesses.
Sharkey is a successful entrepreneur having co-founded iVillage and Brandless. She also held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson’s BabyCenter, AOL, Sesame Street Digital Group. Sharkey emphatically believes in building brands with soul, purpose as an imperative, and that taking the high road will always deliver a better view.
