Jacob Patapoff has experience in Makerspace management, teaching in higher education, and project design and development. He is responsible for building out and managing the Iovine and Young Academy Makerspace prototyping labs at USC, which is a collection of 3D printing, electronics, laser cutting, textiles, woodshop, metal shop, finishing, assembly spaces, and textiles/materials lab. By blending his expertise in cutting edge software and technology with his prowess for traditional workmanship, Jacob continues to push the envelope of design and innovation.

Before coming to USC in 2018, he worked at Ball-Nogues integrated design and fabrication studio, which operates at the intersection of architecture, art, and industrial design.
