The USC Iovine and Young Academy seeks to empower the next generation of thought leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs through a unique educational experience focused at the intersection of four essential areas: the arts and design; technology; venture management; and communication.  

At the Academy, students, faculty, and professional mentors work creatively and collaboratively on real-world problems, rethinking the question from a human-centered perspective, and reimagining solutions to accomplish change and transformation for a better world. Our education is unique, hands-on, and tailored for each individual student, and our student outcomes are directly related to our ability to provide an exceptional learning and working environment for our students that includes opportunities to regularly test and apply their skills and abilities.  Our make-fail-learn-iterate approach relies on the generosity of our alumni, parents, partners, and friends from whom the Academy receives essential resources that provide life-changing educational experiences, and opportunities that prepare our students for a life-long journey of exploration and innovation.
