Sreejesh Moolayadukkam is a researcher and teacher specializing in materials science and nanotechnology. He is a postdoctoral faculty at the Iovine and Young Academy, University of Southern California, and a researcher at the Multiphysics Research Group (MuRG) at the University of Southern California (USC). His research interests primarily focus on manipulating material properties for diverse biosensing, energy storage, and biomedical engineering applications. Before joining USC, Sreejesh was a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), Bangalore, India.

Electrochemical Biosensors: Sreejesh has significantly contributed to developing novel electrochemical biosensors for detecting various analytes, including glucose, dopamine, and other biomolecules. His research involves exploring nanomaterials and advanced fabrication techniques to enhance sensor sensitivity and selectivity.

Energy Storage: Sreejesh has also researched energy storage materials, particularly supercapacitors and lithium-ion batteries. His work aims to improve the performance and durability of these devices by exploring new electrode materials and electrolytes.

Cell Printing: Another area of his expertise is cell printing, a technique used to create three-dimensional cell-based structures for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Ph.D. in Physics: Sreejesh obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), India, under the guidance of Professor H.S. Nagaraja. His doctoral research focused on graphene-based materials, specifically graphene and metal oxide composites, and their applications in energy storage and biosensing.

Visiting Researcher: During his Ph.D. studies, Sreejesh was a visiting student at the Centre for Ionics, University of Malaya (CIUM), Malaysia, where he focused on secondary battery applications using different materials.
